Our company AUTO ERGONOMICS started trading here in Greece 20 years ago in 1986. Initially we had to deal with a very small and difficult market, trying to bring some respectability to the fledgling car conversions, tuning, road and race car preparation business. It was difficult to penetrate into a naive market and we rapidly became aware that our ambitious goals could not be achieved overnight. Nevertheless we always rigorously maintained our own credibility via a small number of dedicated and professional staff giving the highest levels of services and by only offering and using the best quality products we could find and were prepared to endorse ourselves.

AUTO ERGONOMICS has established an enviable reputation in Greece that would be endorsed by other companies we already represent as well as by many other Autosport professionals, the more so since in 2003 we won (first and second places) in a highly competitive competition conducted by ‘POWER’ magazine (sister magazine to ‘EVO’) here in Greece, and in 2004 when we achieved two 1st places and a 3rd in the same competition (slightly different format).

Briefly, the competition is to identify the best vehicle tuning companies in Greece. Initially 40 vehicles are entered and the top 8 selected are then invited to attend a weekend of trials at a military airbase in Greece where the magazines staff drivers and some selected overseas professionals judge and grade the vehicles. Apart from the usual driving, handling, acceleration, braking etc criteria the panel also very critically judged each vehicle on the quality of parts fitted, workmanship and safety of all aftermarket installations, fuel consumption, and each vehicle is dyno tested to verify ‘actual’ against the power claims by each tuner. I will send you copies of the POWER magazines giving the respective results for both years.

MAIN DEALERS in Greece for TEIN suspensions, HONDATA managements, SAMCO Sport, POWERFLEX, PIAA UK and a few others.

Wherever possible we endeavour and pride ourselves on being able to work closely with our suppliers via product feedback, development and enhancement.

Having established our name and reputation during the Cosworth era we have made the natural progression to now specialise in SUBARU & MITSUBISHI Turbo engine vehicles and it would be fair for us to now basically label ourselves as Japanese car specialists.

At our own premises we currently have a fully equipped workshop for works such as tuning, testing, and servicing of vehicles and also for the fitment of all aftermarket parts e.g. turbos, brakes, suspension parts, management systems, exhausts, gauges and other accessories. We also have a showroom for retail customers.

Whilst, initially, most of our business was mainly engine tuning, we have in recent years managed to also make a good name for ourselves in ‘vehicle handling’ and as you can see above we already deal with Whiteline, Tein, Do-Luck and others for suspension parts.

We now have about 2,500 customers on our mailing lists with those numbers having grown especially fast during the last 5 years, and it would be fair to claim that we probably enjoy about 50% of the entire Subaru Impreza (Turbo versions) servicing and aftermarket sales in Greece, with our Mitsubishi EVO figures also now fast increasing too.

Additionally, we find we are now also expanding our services into Cyprus where our good reputation appears to be spreading mainly by ‘word of mouth’ though I assume this is also being achieved via Cyprus’ readership of Greece based car and tuning magazines which have featured our company.

AUTO ERGONOMICS has via its steady, careful and often time-consuming steps arrived at a position where our name stands for quality, assurance and reliability!
